– Making gait visible for everyone –

Walking reflects subtle signs of health.
Gait Analyzer Insight (G-AI) analyzes walking patterns in real time using AI-based image recognition,
simply by recording the person’s walk with the iPhone camera.

No special devices or markers are required.
Just capture the walking motion, and the results appear instantly on the spot.

G-AI brings a new, accessible tool for wellness, monitoring, research, and education.

🎯Key Features

  • AI-powered gait analysis
  • AI, based on the Three-Dimensional Pose Tracker (TDPT) algorithm, analyzes walking footage directly on your iPhone.
It quantifies posture, stride, and rhythm in real time — making gait “visible” with no extra equipment or setup.

  • Real-time feedback with zero wait
  • Analysis completes as you record — results are displayed immediately.

  • Privacy-first design
  • All processing is completed securely within the device.
No images or recordings are uploaded or stored externally.
All gait data are analyzed locally in real time, ensuring complete privacy protection.

  • Research-backed technology
  • Developed through joint research with Nagoya City University and based on peer-reviewed studies (Sensors, 2022, 2023; Yamada, Aoyagi et al.).
Built on the TDPT algorithm, the system quantifies gait characteristics such as shuffling, short-stepped, or wide-based walking by estimating joint angles and motion trajectories from 3D pose projections.
The technology has been presented at international and domestic conferences, including the International Society for Hydrocephalus and Cerebrospinal Fluid Disorders (2024, 2025), the Japanese Society of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (2021–2025), the Japanese Society for Medical and Biological Engineering (2023), and the Japan Society of Fall Prevention (2022, 2023, 2025).

  • Supporting health and safety
  • Easily visualize subtle changes in gait.
Useful for raising daily health awareness and assisting in the early detection of fall risk.
